Anti-Body Media

A MEANINGFUL LIFE. AN INCREDIBLE STORY. What do you get when you mix an accidental death, a group of individuals who desire a meaningful life, and a business of fair-trade natural bodycare products? An impactful narative--the story of Anti-Body.

When a tragic accident killed her fiancé in 2004, Tamara Johnston-McMahon quit a dream job in the film industry to try to make sense of her new, unwanted life. Grief compelled her to seek meaning for her existence. With the help of her sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Steven Moser, Tamara launched Anti-Body.

Through fair-trade, Anti-Body is able to directly fight poverty by providing fair wages to the women of Togo Africa, and other communities, who manufacture some of the natural ingredients used in Anti-Body’s products. With the company came a spiritual transformation in which Tamara found her life’s calling.

Continued company growth has brought about new product lines that range from funky to elegant, a co-op for further development of global fair-trade community centers, and a team who finds satisfaction in seeing one another thrive.
